Optical Training and Trainer jobs in the South East.  Zest Optical are actively seeking a highly credible, experienced optical training professional to join the Sales and Marketing team of a well established and highly reputable lens manufacturer.  As one of their training consultants you will be assigned a number of exclusive customers which will be high spend retail optical accounts across the South East region, location can be flexible as long as you have easy access to the major road networks.  You will be responsible for the ongoing training, support and assessment of their eyecare services, marketing, training and sales programmes.  This will involve presentations, an understanding of the technological aspects of a practice and also appreciation of the patient journey in order to improve their ability to promote the services and lens portfolio of our client.  This role represents an outstanding opportunity for a qualified Dispensing Optician or optical retail professional looking to make the transition from practice into a field based position.

The successful candidate will possess significant dispensing experience or have retail sales experience, ideally with an understanding of both the independent and multiple market.  The Optical Training Consultant will demonstrate first class communication skills and be comfortable delivering training presentations to groups.  Previous experience delivering “in practice” training will be highly advantageous.  The role is an autonomous, field based position which will require candidates to demonstrate excellent planning / time management skills coupled with an ability to work independently, targeting key accounts across the region.
