Optical Assistant jobs, Optical Adviser, Dispensing Assistant in Halifax, West Yorkshire.  Zest Optical are recruiting on behalf of an independent Opticians in Halifax to hire a part time Optical Assistant.

We are currently looking for a part-time Optical Assistant to join a well established independent Opticians based in the Halifax area.

Optical Assistant - Role

  • Friendly and professional independent
  • 2 practices close by
  • Single/double tests
  • Computerised –iClarity
  • Recently refurbished
  • Reception / admin duties
  • Frame styling with access to a wide range of brands
  • Dispensing to all levels
  • Part time – 18.5 days a week
  • Every Friday (9am to 5.30pm), Saturday morning (9am to 12.30pm) and alternate Mondays/Tuesdays (9am to 5.30pm)
  • Additional cover required during holidays/absence
  • £9/hr

Optical Assistant - Requirements

  • Previous experience working within optics
  • Flexible
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
