A well-established independent Opticians based in Reading, Berkshire are looking for a full or part time Dispensing Optician.

Dispensing Optician – Role

  • Traditional independent Opticians
  • Patient focused
  • Loyal patient base
  • Access to a variety of designer brands and quality lenses
  • High dispense value
  • Single testing room practice
  • Close knit team of 4 people
  • Low staff turnover
  • New computer system
  • 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week to include a Saturday
  • Sundays and Mondays off
  • 9am to 5.30pm
  • Salary between £25,000 to £35,000 DOE

Dispensing Optician – Requirements

  • GOC registered
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Outgoing
  • Proactive
