A family run independent Opticians based in Dartford, Kent are looking for a full or part time Dispensing Optician or experienced Optical Assistant.

Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant – Role

  • Family run independent Opticians
  • Diverse patient base
  • Single testing room practice
  • Range of brands to suit all budgets - Silhouette, Ted Baker, Dolce & Gabbana
  • Advanced lenses
  • Emphasis on making the patient feel special
  • Supported by an experienced reception team
  • Assisting with glazing
  • 3, 4 or 5 days a week including Saturdays – 9am to 5pm (4pm on a Sat)
  • Crayford is the closest station
  • Free parking close by
  • Salary between £22,000 to £26,000 for a Dispensing Optician, and between £16,000 - £18,000 for an Optical Assistant.

Dispensing Optician/Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • GOC registered Dispensing Optician would be preferable
  • Experienced Optical Assistants will also be considered
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
