Optometry, Optical Assistant role and Optical Assistant jobs based in Birmingham, West Midlands. Zest Optical recruitment are working with an Optical lens manufacturer based in Birmingham to hire a full time Order Entry Advisor.

A full time Order Entry Advisor is required to join a leading ophthalmic lens manufacturer based in Birmingham. Previous experience of working in optics is essential.

This is initially a 12 month contract.

Order Entry Advisor - The Role

  • Ensure all customer orders are accurately processed on day of receipt
  • Ensure all customer order queries are resolved on the same day
  • Advise customers on product availability.
  • Proactively communicate with internal and external customers regarding order delays.
  • Work as an effective team player.

 Order Entry Advisor - Requirements

  • Previous optical experience
  • Competent IT skills
  • Attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Salary and Further Details

  • Basic salary between £18,000 to £20,000
  • Monday to Friday – Either 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.
  • 12 month contract initially
  • Pension – 10% contribution
  • Bonus
  • Free parking or Travel Card (post induction)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
