We are currently working alongside a family run independent Opticians based in based in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire to hire a part time Optometrist.

Optometrist – Role

  • Modern practice with a relaxed, service focussed environment
  • Lovely close knit team – 2-3 people
  • Mixed NHS and private
  • Single testing room
  • Family run
  • 30-min tests
  • Advanced equipment – OCT, Trial frames, Volk, Icare tonometer, Goldman, slitlamp, Humphreys Fields
  • Contact lens clinics
  • Helping with dispensing if needed
  • Paperless practice – Optinet Flex
  • Work with Director to enhance the practice further
  • Working 2 days a week – Mondays and Saturdays  
  • Opening hours from 9am to 5.30pm (4.30pm on a Sat)
  • Salary up to £50,000Pro rata
  • Free parking 5 min walk away

Optometrist – Requirements

  • Qualified Optometrist  registered with the GOC
  • Open to all levels of experience
  • Strive for clinical excellence
