Optometrist vacancies and Optometrist jobs in Durham.  Zest Optical recruitment are currently working on behalf of an independent Opticians based in Durham to hire a part time Optometrist.

A community based independent Opticians just outside of Durham are looking for a part time Optometrist to join the team. Having recently been expanded and modernised the practice  has grown from strength to strength which is why they require an additional Optometrist. 

Optometrist - Role

  • 30 minute sight tests
  • Pre-screening done by the support team
  • Trial Frames
  • OCT
  • Emphasis on high levels of care
  • 3 testing rooms
  • Excellent links with local hospitals
  • Working alongside a very experienced and well respected Optometrist
  • 2, 3 or 4 days a week
  • Employed or Locum would be considered
  • Practice opening times are from 9am - 5pm
  • Limited weekend working
  • Flexible working days and hours (around school hours for example)
  • Competitive salary package
