A modern independent Opticians based in Stockport, Greater Manchester are looking for a full time Optical Assistant to join the team.

Optical Assistant – Role

  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Booking appointments
  • Dispensing and frame selection

  • Helping to manage social media
  • Scope for progression
  • Working 4.5 days a week including a Saturday morning (35 hours a week)
  • Opening hours from 8.45am to 5.30pm (1pm on a Sat)
  • Salary between £18,000 to £22,000 pro rata

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Must have previous Optical experience
  • Personable and friendly
  • Team Player
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Ability to learn and want to develop
