Optician vacancies and Optical Assistant Jobs in Oxford, Oxfordshire.  Zest Optical recruitment are currently working alongside an exceptional independent Opticians based in central Oxford to hire a full or part time Optical Assistant.

My client is a modern, forward thinking independent Opticians based in central Oxford, Oxfordshire. They are looking to recruit a full or part time Optical Assistant to join the team to continue offering the highest standards of eye care and customer service possible.

The practice is part of a small group of Opticians and they are well known for offering excellent levels of patient care, resulting in a very loyal customer base. They believe in investing money into both the practice and its staff, and utilise some of the most advanced testing equipment including the Optomap.   They are also staunchly independent and as such supply a wide choice of optical products and do not limit their professional staff to any particular brand allowing the dispensing team to tailor bespoke packages for their patients.

The client is looking for an experienced Optical Assistant with an excellent knowledge of frames and lenses.  They want a strong, personable and dynamic character who is able to compliment and add to the current skills in practice. There will be career development opportunities for the right individual and the company is also fully supportive of continued learning allowing you to develop your own skill set.

The role is to work 3 -5 days a week, which will include Saturdays. Working hours are from 9am to 5.30pm.

The salary is between £14,000 to £18,000 plus bonus. (pro rata if part time)
