A high end independent Opticians based in Godalming, Surrey are looking for a full time Optical Assistant to join the team.

Optical Assistant – Role

  • Working with a wide range of designer and bespoke frames - Face a Face, Maui Jim, Oliver Peoples
  • Assisting in all reas of the practice including reception, dispensing, frame selection, measurements and collections.
  • Reception duties
  • Working 5 days a week including a Saturday
  • Opening hours from 9am to 5.30pm
  • Salary between £21,000 - £26,000 DOE
  • Funded Dispensing Optician available in the future

Optical Assistant – Requirements

  • Experience working within an Opticians
  • Ideally a background in an independent Opticians
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
  • Ability to learn and want to develop
