This is a unique opportunity for a dentist to work within clinical dentistry, but make the transition from practice based dentistry to a more clinical operational role. You will be working closely with the clinical director and company owners (an independent dentist), to ensure the smooth running of this expanding dental company.  This growing company currently has 14 dental practices across Sussex, Hampshire, and Wiltshire.  They offer superb practice environments with state-of-the-art equipment and excellent support.  And with excellent feedback from dentists we have placed with the company, we know that they offer superb environments for both patients and staff and you will be afforded excellent support and all the training and tools you require to ensure you a structured path to your career as a clinical director.

We have been advised that the position will be three days in practice treating patients (NHS/private) and two days of administrative and operational work, working closely with the clinical director and company owner, also a dentist.  Your practice-based work will be across the group's six practices in the Southampton area, working closely with the staff in each practice, treating patients three days per week in practices where there may be operational gaps, and leading as appropriate, with full support from the clinical director and owner.

This is a young but established company with structured ambitions and finances for growth.  This provides an excellent opportunity for a dentist that is seeking to make a move away from practiced based dentistry and in to a more director led role, a role that still allows you to practice, but provides you with superb training, mentoring, experience, and support to move your career in a different direction, one which realises your true potential as a clinician and a clinical lead ensuring a rare opportunity for your career.

The successful candidate will be a GDC registered and experienced dentist with a performer number, knowledge of multi-practice operations is beneficial but not essential. The candidate must also be able also to motivate and manage a group of dentists to achieve set UDA targets and have an enthusiasm for the provision and implementation of private dental treatment.

The company’s current nine practices are located in the Southampton area, Wiltshire (near the M4) and the Sussex Coast (Brighton and Eastbourne) with a further practice and head office close to Gatwick.

This position would suit a dentist that is seeking a less treatment focussed role, with good UK dentistry experience who is confident to provide excellent clinical support and new concepts of revenue streams to the company.  You will be provided fantastic support and it will afford an ambitious clinician the opportunity to work with an expanding dental group with great future potential and be part of this independent group’s future success.

For further information regarding this dentist position, confidential enquiries can be made by submitting your CV to ZEST Dental.  All applications and enquiries will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
